Happy Kat Candles & Gifts is the brainchild of Creative Candle Designer Kathy Fogle. Kathy, also lovingly known by family and friends as “Kat” creates a unique variety of beautifully handcrafted candles that look good enough to eat, as well as a fragrant assortment of all natural soy spa candles.
Kathy started making candles as a hobby in 2004. After working most of her life as a licensed cosmetologist, she decided to turn her creative passion into a business in 2017. Later that year, she opened a small gift shop inside of NODA@28th Creative Art Studio located in the art district of Charlotte. In early 2018, Kathy entered and won Northlake Malls’ very first “Battle of The Pop Up” competition which earned her a retail location inside the local mall.
In addition to her candle creations, the gift shop also features a beautiful selection of carefully curated merchandise created by local artisans. Items include all natural body/skincare products, ceramics, jewelry, children’s gifts, apparel, inspirational gifts, gourmet edibles and more.
Happy Kat Candles & Gifts now serves customers at 2 locations, their flagship at Northlake Mall in Charlotte, NC and Carolina Place Mall in Pineville, NC.
